I got sick of the ocean, being on a ship for two months. But somehow, now it feels good seeing the water again.

You were on a ship, huh? I lived in a port town myself, but we didn't get much traffic 'til lately. The mouth of the river was a mess with silt and stuff.

It was safer than land travel at the time. At least until we had to deal with pirates.

So this water is a lot clearer? I wonder how deep it goes around here.

...There was a shark earlier, but I took it out of the water. It should be pretty safe now. But I'll keep an eye out for you, if you want to go in.

It's a big reptile, lots of scales and teeth.

...Well, the ones I know are laguz, like Ranulf. Except Ranulf is a cat laguz. If you haven't met a laguz before, they have a natural form, the dragons being a scaly animal like you said, and a form that looks like us...

I don't feel comfortable just standing around here. Do you want to find food with me? Or go swimming? Or anything, really.

Without a sword, unlikely I think. But I might injure it or chase it off.

...All of them are gonna be, that's kinda the point of a swimsuit. You're s'posed to tell me which one you think would look the best.
