Isn't it, though? [Smiles a bit as he gives the castle another once over.] You're right that it takes patience and skill to make, but sand as a medium is impermanent.

Look at what you've made. It's impressive, to be sure, but rain will easily wash it away, the waves will eventually come up to claim it, and strong wings or wayward birds or any number of creatures and objects can destroy it with enough force.

Sand is fragile, so in the end what did your patience and skill achieve if not futility?
