I had footing in the sand and the shark wasn't too big. A bear isn't comparable.

[Ike swings his stick sword-like at the bear. Maybe he can stun it or distract it...]

Ike's hit definitely stunned the creature and Okuyasu made a swift swing to its head. It's now down and dazed at best, in the snow, trying to get up.]
