date 2 - cabin group b
☕ You're free to do whatever you like in your ☃️winter wonderland☃️, there's everything you might like--but only two blankets. Remember, sharing is caring!🤝 Additionally, to learn more about your 💑datemates💑, go around the group and answer these questions. You can pass twice, but you do not want to learn what happens to liars.☠️
☕ Topics:
😕 A moment you aren't proud of
😓 Your greatest fear
😰 Something that leaves you cold
😊 Your greatest unimportant triumph
😋 Someone or someplace you admire
😀 Something that gets you hot
☕ At the end of the day, vote here.

[he dumps the wood with the rest on the sled, offended by the very thought of someone thinking he had any "deres," much less with tsuns attached]
The clown nonsense is equally ridiculous. He claimed they have priests as part of their little horrorcore rap unit. Note that they are baffled by the workings of a magnet, just to let you know the intelligence level we're working at.

Frankly, I'm not sure I understand a word Dave says at the best of times... What's "horrorcore"?
no subject
[since everything seems to be gathered, he takes the sled and starts walking it down to the cabin. home stretch!]
no subject
[Yusuke follows, somehow managing to avoid getting distracted, this time around.]
no subject
[no one's getting lost this time! NO MAN LEFT BEHIND let's just dump this and be warm for once]
no subject
[Not that he knows a lot about either horror movies or rap, but??? Once they finally arrive back at the cabin, Yusuke helps carry the second batch of logs inside. After topping up the fire a little and making sure it's still burning brightly, he flops down to sit on the couch, exhausted.]
Ahh... I have never been so appreciative of heat until this moment.
no subject
[despite having dropped the logs and stuff, Kaiba doesn't remove his coat or even move to the couch, just kind of awkwardly crouches in front of the fire, as if attempting to warm his hands under the pretense of further messing with the logs despite Yusuke having done a fine job of fire management]
no subject
[Or sand and snow, not grass, in this case. Yusuke's managed to shed his coat, but is glued to the couch enough that he's just left it folded over the back of the chair for now. Although there is one thing that will make him move--]
Hmm... I believe the call of hot chocolate is beckoning to me. Would you like one, too, Kaiba-san?
no subject
[He actually turns to look at Yusuke's offer, confused...though eventually he shrugs and goes back into glaring the fire into somehow becoming hotter]
...Fine, so long as it's hot.
[it IS right there in the name]
no subject
[Yusuke gets up to make them both the drinks. He adds a generous amount of cream and marshmallows to his; having unlimited access to food and snacks is still a novelty, when he's used to going hungry all the time, so he still wants to take full advantage of it. He doesn't add any toppings to Kaiba's to be on the safe side, though.]
Here you are. [He returns, handing him the drink.] Would you like to join me?
[He gestures to the couch. Squatting like that all evening would probably be uncomfortable...]
no subject
[...Then, quietly goes and sits like a normal person, legs crossed. He gives the hot chocolate a tentative sniff before just wrapping his hands around his cup.]
How can you drink it with all that stuff in it?
no subject
A friend introduced me to drinking them this way. Ann loves sweet things, so--
[...Oh, right, Ann. Yusuke's expression falls, and he goes silent.]
no subject
...Did you want to want to talk about it?
no subject
...I'll be all right. I'm going to do everything in my power to save her.

So your aim is to wait it out, hope the hosts can be taken at their word.
no subject
[Not if those alternatives mean giving up on his friend.]

It's difficult with all of our contact with them happening remotely. Though I can't blame them for not wanting to take us on face-to-face. Tends to give negotiations a different balance, as it were.
